How to connect Benchmark Email to Email Heatmaps (3 steps)

1. Start your free trial, then click your name top right and select “Integration”.
2. Copy your API key from Benchmark Email. Here is where to find it.
3. Paste it next to Benchmark Email and click Connect.

Login and click your name top right, then select “Integration”.

Scroll down to Benchmark Email and enter your API.

Paste your Benchmark Email API key into the box and click Connect.

Depending how many campaigns are in your account, you can find all your campaigns if click “Email Campaigns” in the menu bar. You will need to choose the correct plan to display to total email campaigns in your account.

Then all your campaigns will display here:

Where to find your Benchmark Email API key

1. Log in to Benchmark Email and open your profile menu (your username, top right).
2. Select Integrations, then API Key in the left-hand menu.
3. Click “Generate API Token”, or copy the one you already have.

Keep this page open in another tab, so you can copy the key straight into Email Heatmaps.

What you see for Benchmark Email campaigns

After you connect, your sent Benchmark Email campaigns arrive with the click count for every link. The heatmap lays those counts over the email itself, so you can tell at a glance which part of the message did the work. Mouse over a link to read its exact number.
